New Delhi: The olive tree, known for its numerous qualities, is now going to beautify Mukesh Ambani's house as he is now preparing to plant a 182-year-old olive tree, which is considered auspicious, in his garden.

Mukesh Ambani's Jamnagar bungalow will soon have two rare olive trees.

According several media reports, these trees have been nurtured in an Andhra Pradesh nursery. The age-old olive tree (botanical name: Olea Europaea) was brought from Spain to Gautami Nursery in Andhra Pradesh about three years ago. On Wednesday, these two big trees were loaded on a truck and sent to Gujarat. It is being told that these trees will be planted in the garden of Mukesh Ambani's house in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

About 85 lakh rupees were spent on two olive trees

Reportedly, Mukesh Ambani has spent about 85 lakh rupees on the two olive trees. The transportation will take five days to reach Ambani's house in Gujarat. According to the owner of Gautami Nursery, the trees are old and kept in big polythene bags. The maximum speed of the truck while carrying it should not exceed 30 kmph.

Trees will reach Jamnagar by November 29

It is estimated that the trees will reach Jamnagar by November 29. When these old olive trees were adapted to the Indian environment, then they were put up for sale and knowing about the same some officials of Reliance Industries contacted their nursery and bought it.

The roots of the trees weighing around 2-tonne each, were carefully packed with earth and then covered and protected for their journey. With the help of hydraulic cranes, the trees were loaded onto the modified truck.
